1. How do you calculate a standard translation page?

The number of pages of the original text and the translation is counted using the character counting function in MS Word. In the header of an open Word document go to REVIEW and by selecting this option a new submenu will open containing the tool WORD COUNT. When you click on it, a small window will open where you can see the exact number of pages, words, characters (with and without spaces), as well as the number of paragraphs and lines.

One standard translation page contains 1,450 characters without spaces, which is the measure we use to calculate the final number of pages in a translation, by dividing the total number of characters without spaces by 1,450.
